Refund & Financial Commitment Policy

RR Soccer Academy
(U.S. Club Soccer–Sanctioned Soccer Club)
RR Soccer Academy is a U.S. Club Soccer–sanctioned soccer club operating under the authority of U.S. Club Soccer and in compliance with all applicable rules, policies, and regulations of U.S. Club Soccer and any affiliated leagues or competitions.
RR Soccer Academy may participate in NorCal Premier Soccer and/or other U.S. Club Soccer–sanctioned leagues, and is not limited to a single league. League participation may vary by season at the sole discretion of the club.
To ensure fairness, financial stability, and consistent operations for all families, the following Refund & Financial Commitment Policy applies to all programs, teams, events, and services offered by the club.
1. Registration, Administrative & Third-Party Fees
All registration, enrollment, administrative, and third-party fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once payment has been processed.
Non-refundable fees include, but are not limited to:

U.S. Club Soccer player and staff registration fees
-
League fees (NorCal Premier or any other league)
-
Insurance premiums
-
Background screening
-
Player cards and roster fees
-
Registration platform and processing fees
These fees are incurred immediately upon registration and cannot be recovered by the club.
2. Annual Commitment & Installment Payments
By registering with RR Soccer Academy, families acknowledge and agree that club participation is an annual commitment.
Monthly payments:

Are installment payments toward the full seasonal/annual club fee

Do not constitute a month-to-month agreement
-
Are non-refundable, regardless of:
-
Attendance
-
Injury or illness
-
Team placement
-
Coach decisions
-
Playing time
-
Travel, academic, or personal conflicts
-
Failure to attend training sessions or matches does not reduce or eliminate financial responsibility.
3. Missed Training Sessions, Matches & Club Activities
Missed training sessions, matches, or club activities are:

Non-refundable
-
Not eligible for make-up sessions
This includes absences due to injury, illness, vacations, disciplinary actions, weather-related absences, or personal reasons.
4. Team Placement, Rosters & Playing Time
Registration with RR Soccer Academy:

Secures participation within the club
-
Does not guarantee:
-
Placement on a specific team
-
A specific coach
-
A specific competitive level
-
A roster position
-
A position on the field
-
Minimum playing time
-
All team placement and roster decisions are made at the sole discretion of RR Soccer Academy.
5. League Authority & Competition Placement
RR Soccer Academy operates under U.S. Club Soccer and may compete in NorCal Premier Soccer and/or other sanctioned leagues or competitions.
Participation in a specific league:

Is not guaranteed
-
May change from season to season based on:
-
League acceptance
-
Competitive alignment
-
Player development needs
-
Club strategy
-
Governing body decisions
-
Changes in league affiliation do not constitute grounds for refunds or credits.
Decisions made by leagues or governing bodies—including scheduling, eligibility, discipline, or sanctions—are final and non-refundable.
6. Club Cancellations & Force Majeure
If RR Soccer Academy cancels a session due to:

Weather
-
Facility closures
-
Safety concerns
-
Staff availability
-
Acts of God or force majeure (including pandemics, government restrictions, fires, or emergencies)
The club may, at its discretion, offer a make-up session when feasible.
Individual session cancellations do not qualify for refunds.
If an entire program or season is canceled solely by RR Soccer Academy, the club may issue a pro-rated credit or refund, less any non-refundable fees, at its discretion.
7. Injuries, Medical Situations & Hardship Requests
In cases of a serious injury or medical condition preventing continued participation:

A written request must be submitted

A doctor’s note is required
At the sole discretion of RR Soccer Academy, a partial credit (not a cash refund) may be issued.
Credits:

Are non-transferable
-
Are non-cash
-
Expire after 12 months

Are not guaranteed
8. Tryouts, Camps, Clinics & Special Events
All fees for:

Tryouts
-
Camps
-
Clinics
-
Tournaments
-
Special events
are non-refundable, as these require advance commitments for staffing, facilities, and league or event registrations.
9. Uniforms, Equipment & Merchandise
All uniforms, equipment, and merchandise are:

Non-refundable
-
Non-exchangeable
Once orders have been placed, no refunds will be issued regardless of player status or participation.
10. Inability to Place a Player
If RR Soccer Academy is unable to place a player on any team or program, the club may issue a refund or credit, minus all non-refundable administrative, third-party, and processing fees.
11. Disciplinary Actions, Non-Payment & Chargebacks
If a player is suspended or removed due to:

Code of Conduct violations
-
Parent or player misconduct
-
Failure to comply with club, league, or governing body rules
-
Non-payment of fees
-
Payment disputes or chargebacks
No refunds or credits will be issued.
Chargebacks or returned payments may result in:

Immediate suspension
-
Responsibility for chargeback fees, collection costs, and any fees permitted by law
12. Refund & Credit Request Procedure
All requests must be submitted in writing to:

Requests will only be considered under the circumstances outlined in this policy.
Approved refunds or credits may take up to 14 business days to process.
Credit/debit card processing fees are non-refundable and may be deducted from any approved refund.
13. Policy Updates & Amendments
RR Soccer Academy reserves the right to modify this policy at any time to remain compliant with U.S. Club Soccer, league requirements, or applicable law.
Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the most current version of this policy.
